my experience with florist#2 - the sequel

mood:
surprise of surprises, but florist#2 called me today (or yesterday rather, to put it more accurately).
i was actually in a meeting the whole morning, and when i checked my voicemail when i got back, florist#2 left me a message. she said that she has some ideas and a final quotation on the price, and to call her back.
so i did. out of courtesy.
this is what she gives me:
tulips for my bouquet (forget the peonies or the callas)
roses for all the other bouquets of my entourage
25 centerpieces of roses and JUST A FEW lillies
a floral arrangement for the entrance with roses and JUST A FEW lillies
roses and JUST A FEW lillies for the cake and cake table
crysanthemums for my basket of flowers for the offertory
backdrop with roses and JUST A FEW lillies
take note that i stressed on JUST A FEW, since these were her exact words. they're not even calla lillies, but stargazers. didn't i say i wanted callas?! do we admire her listening skills or what?!
the damage? she quotes me 5K higher than the original budget i gave her.
for roses?!?!?! and JUST A FEW lillies?!?!?!
what the fuck?!?!
